Let me start out by saying the Golf Course is always fun. But what is a hidden gem is the T-Prime Restaurant. It is a great place to have a relaxing Delicious dinner with your spouse, friends or family. You will be very pleased with the food, wine and drink, not to mention the staff. If you are interested in something slightly more casual the clubhouse restaurant is perfect. And I have to suggest, scallops wrapped in bacon... and the salads and burgers are perfect.
I enjoyed the round and the course was in good shape. Great pace as well. My only complaint is the additional fee for GPS. It's on the carts, so have it active. Where I moved from even the city courses had GPS on the carts. I've never paid additional fees anywhere I've ever played in the country. I sincerely hope this is not a new trend and simply a way Avalon is attempting to recoup money. I'd honestly have no issue paying $5 more for the green fees...I dont know maybe others like the choice. I personally found it absurd.
Making progress. Traps are being redone and will soon be first class. Always fun and challenging. A diamond of a course being polished to its former luster.
It was a beautiful day for golf. The pace of play was perfect. The greens and fairways were good. Look forward playing when the course when the sand traps are completed. It will be a great course.
Attended a company Christmas party here that was incredible. Three differently decorated rooms allowed guests to mingle in an atmosphere that was interesting and engaging. The food was unique and delicious with bites of shrimp, spaghetti, salads and a dessert bar. Service was attentive.
